Intro'ing Acan Lord into low cal tank...

My 29gal has see better days, though the softies are doing great. Anyway, my Acan Lord piece is starting to recess and wanted to know if I were to switch it into my 125gal, would it be better? My 29gal, has good cal/alk (390/9dlk) but the nitrates are high 60ppm. This is because my 125 FOWLR collapsed from Ich and I have two larger fish in the 29's sump. I can't intro the fish into the 125 yet as the Ich still has about 3 weeks before confirmed die off. So I was wondering if I were to just swap the Acan into the 125? The 125's parameters are perfect, 0 nitrates, 0 amm, 8.1pH, 0 phospates, 8dkl alk, because the tank has remained fishless for 6 weeks so far. But calcium is low at 300ppm (I used IO to fill the tank). I've starting dosing the 125 with two part.

Would the low cal. be a terrible thing for the Acan? He doesn't like that good at all and I'd like to move him if okay. There's also a significant lighting upgrade in the 125, 2 175watt MH (w/VHO actnics) vs. 130watt PC on the 29gal. And input is greatly welcome!

The high nitrates will kill the coral much quicker than low calcium ever will. The low calcium is unlikely to have any effect actually, it will just inhibit the acans growth until you get it up. I would switch it over ASAP, but feel free to wait for some other opinions.

I'd probably do the switch too. Just be careful not to shock it with too much light or flow.

As always get temp and specific gravity to close parameters before switching or acclimate as if it's a new coral . (I prefer getting the tanks to match, it's less work and less stressful to the coral.)

Did the switch, it's already looking a tad better, it's comes out for feeding like when I first got it. The temps are the same, but salinity was a tad over on the 125. Just did an extended acclimation.
