well im getting super bored and somewhat disgusted of seeing those darn overflows in the back of peoples tank ( No offense to anyone). Ive been up and down my local Home Depots plumbing section and sorta brainstorming ideals for overflows returns etc... I like the way 3" pvc pipe looks as weird as that sounds but what i was thinking and maybe ill need 4" pipe but put three 1" returns in a 4" vertical pipe and in another 4 " pipe put a overflow using horizontal slitsnear waters edge. IF i could post pics or knew how to it would sink in alot. Better yet look at my photo album. Ok in a third 4" pipe house electrical or extra return pipes. All this would tie into a triangle of pipes and then i would connect the pipe with adjacent or diagonal 1/2'' pipe.

3. Electrical cords and any additional returns etc...
The reason im explaining this is because i think if someone with a fairly large tank maybe 400-500 gallons pulled it off it would look brilliant. The 1/2'' diaganols would simple be glued onto the side of the 4"
