Invert QT

I've heard some say that inverts don't need to be quarantined. Is this true? Do they not host many of the parasites that attack fish? Do you personally QT them, or do you add them straight to your display tank?

They need to be isolated for some parasites, most importantly ich, to die-off.

It generally takes about 10 weeks for ich to die off when there is no fish.


I ALWAYS isolate any drop of water for at least 10 weeks before allowing introduction into my system.
