Inverting 3155 ATO sensor

Hi,

I'm working on an AWC application and was curious whether I can "flip" the 3155 sensor so that it turns ON the pump when the water level reaches a certain level, then turns OFF when it falls below that level.

Any thoughts?

The 3155 could not be used this way, the float is only a back up and the optic sensor is the primary sensor and it has a safety where it shuts down after 10 minutes. The 8555 RO water controller can be used this way, you would need two, one to drain and one to fill. This use is described in the manual and it can be downloaded on Tunze.com.

My apologies. I'm interested in the optic sensor. I shouldn't be running the pump for more than 2-3 minutes at a time.

Can I flip the optic sensor?

No, the optic sensor turns on the attached pump when it is dry and turns it off when it is wet and no change of orientation would reverse this function. Floats generally can be switched around by reversing the float on the post.
