Invest in Lighting or Live Rock?

Ive decided to invest a little money into my aquarium since i havent done much with it for a long time. I can either invest in about 25 pounds of fiji rock or buy a coralife 2x65 50/50 lamp (replace my 20 watt florescent) for my tank. I already have some coraline growth on base rock in my tank that has spread from small pieces of like rock i have purchased. I know live rock would be benificial filteration, but would new lighting before i buy liverock and corals be better?

id go for the light, it will give you more livestock options

id buy a MH instead of a 130 watt PC i have that pc setup right now and im already looking to upgrade

Would the 4.5 watts per gallon be enough for me to keep polyps, hammer or frogspawn coral, and a xenia?

How much are you planning on spending?

Most people once they buy PC, eventually upgrade to MH
I bought a used 175w MH setup for about $45

If you want to go reef get the mh. I had pc and upgraded in less than a month.

planning on spending about $150, cant go any higher than that---student--lol.

You have 30 lbs of rock already, I'd go for the light
One problem with MH will be heat, so if you opt for that make sure you have a fan too
