IO salt Ca and Alk

I just tested some IO salt I mixed up for a water change the Ca was 340 and the Alk was 4.0.

Does this sound right?

I added 1oz of Dow flake to bring it up to 450 and 4.0

sounds pretty close to me, i always add CaC12 and thats it.

I usually find the mag of IO to be less then 1200.

I bring it up to 1380 and a lot easier time keeping up my cal and alk, it also stops precip on your pumps.

I try to keep Ca 450 alk 4.0 and Mg 1400. Ill test the Mg and bring it up too.

Mg was 1200 exactly good call.

I had to add 10oz to bring it the Mg to 1400.

The Ca was 420 alk 4.0
