my quastion is:
how can you lower the levels of iodate in the system?
is the damage that happend (due to high levels of iodid and iodate) to my LPS s reversable?
my euphyllias are not seem to get any better although i changed 30% of water (today another 30%) and added active carbon.

I do not know of a good way to rapidly lower it. Bacteria may convert it slowly to iodine, macroalgae may incorporate it, and a deep sand bed may speed the process conversion to iodide. Water changes will also work.

The highest? How high is that? If a reef aquarum has iodate over 0.5 ppm, I'd do water changes to reduce it.

Iodate is not very toxic, but any toxicity it causes will be like any poison: you may recover, or you may die.
