iPhone App

im still having a hard time using the iphone app.once i upgraded both the app and the controller i lost the ability to connect to the controller. is there a problem with the new firmware?

i just found an old version of the firmware and downgraded. I still am unable to connect using my iphone. I am able to connect on my PC using the LAN ip address. Anyone have any thoughts? once again all was fine till i upgraded. no settings were changes both on the controller and the router

Are there any plans to develope the "Iphone APP" for the new sowtware vession ? (VER 3)? (only option to work with 3GS)

I upgraded my iPhone to OS version 3 and now Aquanotes disappeared :( .

That was the reason I DID NOT upgrade the OS to 3 ,and I will wait since it’s the most useful APP that I ever use. and i will wait...

We upgraded my wife to the 3GS today. Aquanotes disappeared, but was still under the applications section of iTunes, so I checked the box next to the app in itunes and re-synced the phone now everything works fine. We are running v3.4 on the AC3.

I am on the Iphone APP and everything is working great, expect that I am not getting the red light (for “off” status) in the outlet timers. There is no light at all (empty), instead the red light. The green light working fine. Anyone else have the same problem? (It’s on OS 2 and also with OS 3 iphone)

HERE you can find the latest BETA firmware for the ACIII and ACIII pro. The key work being BETA :). It should work with the AC app available now on iTunes.

The icon of Aquanotes still doesn't show in my iPhone, but I know it is installed because I can do a search and find it, and it works great with the latest beta firmware.
Of course that's not the only iPhone icon I'm missing so it should be a generic problem with the new iPhone OS 3.0

This may be really silly in response to your not seeing the icon, but when I synced mine, for whatever reason, it was way over to the right. I had to scroll over two unused screens to get to the screen that housed the icon. I don't know why it did that, but it did. I usually had about 3 screens or pages of icons, but after the sync, I had 6, and two were blank.

It’s over my ability.
I am NOT getting the green light (for “off” status timer) in the APP and I am NOT getting the alarm massage the icon of the APP. (The alarm sown inside the APP itself) I am on the new AC3 Firmware (6B09) the iphone OS 3 (That is working well with the APP (according to the forum) and the last APP.
I delete the APP from the iphone and from the ITunes and install it again. Nothing works. No green light and no alarm symbol on the icon.
Anyone can put some light on that? Thanks.

i forgot to mention that the rest of the APP with all the data, info, timers, everything is working perfect.

I can not get my app to function properly from off site. While in home, and connect to my local wifi, the connection works fine with the app, but when off site, and going through the web, the app connects, but all the options are blank (programs, timers, etc). This was the same issue I had before I updated the firmware. Any ideas?

What do you mean by "going through the web"?

Is your router configured to forward the web port (8080 or whatever) to the IP of the controller? Also are you port forwarding the Telnet port (23) to the controller?

I've had excellent results with the iPhone app even after the beta firware upgrade.

Oh also is your IP on the controller static? If it's on DHCP the I{ may change.
