Iron out rust remover

I have a problem with iron in my water so has been suggested to add "Iron Out" to my water softener brine tank. I am running RO unit with 2x DI. Can anyone advise if this product would be harmful to my tank?

You mean adding it before the RO/DI? It will be totally removed by the RO/DI, so it is no concern.
