irritated clam

I have a couple clams. a crocea thats around 5" long and a derassa about 3. They have both been doing great. Recently I see that the crocea is showing a little mantle somtimes. I have watched closely the last two days and have seen my coral beauty nipping at the shell looking for algae. It is not nipping at the clams meat just the top of the shell. The clam is fully open most of the time but seems more sensitive to the other fish as they swim near it . When do I pull the plug on this Coral Beauty? or will the clam be ok. I seems fine in the morning and since moving it to a quieter area in the display it is open wide. How much will they tolerate

I think you should remove the coral beauty asap. I would bet $ that is what is causeing the problem.

its actually very easy. just start feeding the fish from a fish net. place the food in the net and the net in the water, if they want food they have to go into the net to get it. if they dont eat in a few minutes they dont get feed. dont give in after one or two days, your fish will be fine.
