Irritation (white stuff) on Female Clown!

My female clown has some white spec irritation around the gill area on one side of her. I noticed it two days ago and it appears a little worse today. I've attached some of the best photos I could take. Could anyone identify what this is?? I'm quite concerned!!!

It might be velvet. If it looks fuzzy and it's spreading you might want to buy medicine that doesn't effect the reef if you have a reef set up.

I'd get more opinions though.

I looked up velvet as I've never heard of it. The clown today is hanging out behind some rockwork more than normal, though so is the male the seems unaffected. They both ate today and she doesn't seem lethargic. I'm going to keep a close eye to see if she scratches on the rocks. I haven't seen that yet.

I'm hoping more people will chime in, slow day on here today because of the 4th I guess.
