is 36"x24"x24" a tank size that you can find? Or only custom made?

I'm thinking of selling my 30x24x24 for a 36. But not sure if I should just get another custom one made, or if there are ones out there of that dimension already. It would also solve my problem of needing to make a stand.

Thanks!

48x24x24 is standard but I don't think 36x24x24 is standard...

Why can't you build the stand yourself? I don't really think it's that hard to do. It might not look nice but hey it's cheap  ..

I'm sure any LFS can get you one if you can't build.

I'm building my own stand, but I want a longer tank. And it'd just be a convenience if there are premade ones.

I'm pretty particular, and don't mind spending some money to make it look nice. I've spent so much already on this setup, no need to skimp on the display stand.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll get a custom built tank and will be selling my 30x25x25 =p

haha that would be nice.

I'm thinking 36x30x24.

I think 30" high is a bit tall, especially since I want a taller stand (3 feet).

I'm thinking about contacting: http://krittertanks.com to make a custom tank, since they're nearby. I got my last one done at socalcreations, which is a great place, but shipping was a pain and quite expensive.

Why not get 36x36x30?? that would make a really nice cube tank :) ..
It wouldn't really be a cube. ;)

lol Ti

don't you guys think a 30" might be REALLY too tall? I'd need at least a 400watt hqi to put anything near the bottom?

I have long arms. :D
But you could keep the low light stuff down bottom.
shrooms, kenya, xenia,

haha, well I have long arms too, though I try not to need to stick my entire arm into tanks =)

and yes, lower light stuff at the bottom would work too, though I think I will stick to a 24" depending...

would a 250watt suffice for this setup? should I go with a 2x250watt instead?

I think people go by L and W when they're talking about cube tank. 36" H would be really nice but you gonna need some snorking equipment when trying to reach the bottom of the tank :D ..
