Is 5 fish in a 30G too many?

I have a 30G Cube with a 10G sump/skimmer/fuge

I have narrowed my stocking list to

1-Banggai cardinal
2- Clowns
1-Royal Gramma
and a Lawnmower Blenny

Will that be alright in my aquarium, or do I have to start making cuts?

What kind of Clownfish are they? It will be a little tight in there, but it can work IMO. If those Clownfish ever decide to pair up though you might have to make some changes.

I would think that would be fine. Just make sure they all have room to hide if needed.

It will be fine until your clowns become a bonded pair and start spawning. Then it may become a problem b/c it is possible they can take over that whole tank.

I kept a similar setup in a 30" long 29 gallon tank:
pair of ocellaris clowns
bi color blenny
royal gramma
green chromis

All got a long great for over 2 years and still living together in my 75g now.

That seems overstocked to me...
The two clowns will be aggressive to the other fish in a tank that small. I would take at least one of the fish off

I currently have a pair of clowns (true perc paired with a snowflake), a purple pseudochromis, and a flame hawkfish all living peacefully in my jbj 28g nano if that helps at all. I think you will be fine, depending on the type of clowns like stated above.

maroon clowns - no.
ocellaris clowns - yes.

some others wont work either.. but ocellaris or percula you'll be fine.
