yes and with great results. the strong light hogging acros can be placed mid level to create bright and beautiful colors. but it becomes an issue when you get the sps itch and you soon find out you want a bigger tank

^ Plus 1 I totally agree. A 150w mh is great for 29g bio cubes in fact Oceanic sells one with the Coralife Clamp On. I have run out of room in my 40b to put new sps in, I have some on my frag rack that I need to fine a place for. I need a bigger tank lol.

yup should be plenty of light, deffenitly a tried and proven light source for sps in a bc
