Is a 55 big enough for a Snowflake eel?

Is a 55g tank enough to support this eel? I'm not looking for a big one, I'd like to find a juvie. And I have someone always willing to make trades with me later on when he's too big. What's the biggest this guy can get and still be happy in a 55?

Full size no problem in a 55. They tend to stay around a couple feet. If you want to trade in for smaller eels, thats always fine to do. The main problem with eels that feel cramped, is they try to split- Keep tank well covered.
