IS a Squamosa on LR OK??

Contradition alert!!!!
I have read and been told that a squamosa do not and do have to be in a sand bed..

mine is in a nice folded piece of LR about 6 inches from my lights (4x 96 watt pc) in my 75 gal...

Is that OK not being in the sand bed???

its basicaly whatever floats his boat . I have had one actually lock onto the rock . Beware halides . He is closer to them and could spit on them. been there done that

as long as he is happy is ok.

mine is on the sand bed with a peice of LR under it...
but as long as he is opening and not falling off, i would say do what he tell you. he will let you what he wants
