As title,
Yesterday my girlfriend bought me my first ever bubble tipped anemone,

Im very fond of it and it seems to be thriving brilliantly, i fed it for the 1st time today and what a spectacle!!

Its a new tank and its been cycling for just over a month and all water tests have come back perfect!! :-)

Im new to the marine fish keeping world But after a lot of research I'm a little apprehensive about purchasing a torch coral as its suggested it may not be compatible with my anemone... With it being aggressive etc

Is this the case??

I have a fluval edge 26ltr nano.

Thank you

Bad mistake. Usually you would need to let your tank cycle 5-8 months before adding anemones. I did get away with putting one in at 3 months so hopefully it does good.

I would've suggested longer than a month cycle also. And maybe returning the nem untill it's time. I used microbactre7 to help stabilize things during the cycle of my gig tank. But I would have very few fish if any for awhile. Later as your tank matures adding a torch would be fine. They are compatible as long as they can't touch. And they will reach for eachother if they are too close.

My live rock is very mature (3years) and I seeked loads of advice before purchasing and I was told it would be OK. I hope to god it will be!!!

I have 2 large torch corals as well as 2 BTA and a Seabe in a 225. Everyone is happy and thriving but I've never seen the BTA's travel anywhere near the others.
