I'm considering purchasing this skimmer. The price looks good. Is the noise acceptable and does it skim well?135+shipping
Also looking at the PM redline 100 needle wheel. It's a little more expensive but made of cast acrylic. 189 free shipping at marine depot.
This will be for my 20 gallon +/- 30 total. Right now it's softies, frogspawn and two small fish. Footprint is the issue as skimmer area in sump is 9x10". I think the ASM will fit on a diagonal.
Other skimmer suggestions are welcome and perhaps a smaller skimmer will work. I'd like to upgrade to a larger DT soon so new skimmer will be used on 55-75 eventually.
