Is it an anenome?

I found this little anenome looking thing in my tank. I just came home from work and there it was it is tiny maybe a centimeter it is gray and white it has the same shape as an anenome it has tentacles comeing out of the stock. I a very courious to see what my little freind or enemy. I will try to post a picture of it but it is hard because of the size

Agree a pic would deff help alot. But i am just gonna guess aptasia due to the color your saying

sounds like manjao or aiptasia to me. Anemones dont just appear unless they are bad.

Ya I went to the local store wile I was picking up a skunk shrimp which didint make the journey. And asked and he said it was aiptasia. Sounds like a good reason to get a file wrass I think it is called

What you need is a peppermint shrimp (L. wurdemanni).

There are actually a lot of peppermint shrimp species - you need to have the right species that actually eats aptasia.
