Is it common for ricordea to

split often? I have one piece that started off as a single and now there are 8 of them, yet the one next to it has done nothing except grow HUGE.

I am no expert but have kept Florida and Yumas. Mine split more often once I started feeding them (cyclopeze and small pieces of mysis).
