Is it dead?

I have never seen my rock flower close up like this, no seeing any movement from it.... Wondering if it's dead :uhoh2:

doesn't look dead or dying to me. Rock anemones seem to really like having their foot buried in a crevice and that snail shell looks like that nems happy place. How long has it been in your tank/that spot? It could just be getting acclimated to the new space/spot. Also, if you've ever encountered a dying anemone you'll never forget the melted look and that oh so haunting aroma.

It's been in the tank for about a month now. Been in that spot for probably 3 weeks. Just after I posted it seems to be opening up more now. I was worried, I have never seen it so far down in the shell before.

Doesn't look dead to me either. My LTA will sometimes completely disappear into the substrate when there is change in the tank (i.e. large water change). Glad it is opening back up.
