So my lfs called and said my mag has arrived. My first thought is get it home and put it in my DT while I setup the QT. If it deflate, will it be easy to get it off the rock to put it into the QT?

i would set up the qt before bringing it home...

it depends if it gets it's foot into a crevice, or stays where you put it.... it could travel to a totally different area then where you place it... i haven't had many issues removing a mag. i use a zip tie to gently pry up the foot a little bit at a time.

Moving an anemone off a rock isn't an easy task. Plus all the anemone I ever owned always moved under a rock the first few days. So if you put the mag into your display tank. It will not stAy where you put it and most likely will hide under a rock fir a few days until its ready to come out. I still have no idea why you would qt an anemone. But if I remember correctly your the guy with the cipro.

Well, I stopped by my lfs to look at the mag before I go home to setup the QT tank. The mag was in the refugium...:(. I took it home and scrambled to get the QT up and running. Look like I will work from home tomorrow to monitor it.
