is it normal for some zoas not to close at night?

I bought two different frags from a LFS both seemingly 100 % healthy. Noticed last night one frag did not close up at night. It was completely open. I turn off my hydras at night. Is this normal ?

Should be fine. Not all zoas close at night.

You will notice throughout the day, or night, that your Zoanthids will remain open or closed on a whim. It is normal as long as they don't remain closed for an extended period of time.
