Ok, well at the LFS they have one of those Oceanic 144g. Half circle tanks.. set-up as a reef tank.. anway the tank is AMAZING.. they have a group of Frogspawn,Torch, and Hammer corals .. liked grouped up with eachother.. can i do this?? Have Frogspawn, Hammer, and Torch coral touching eachother in like a little bunch?? Would they kill eachother???They are all related (im pretty sure??) anyway tanks in advance

I have my frogspawn and hammer next to each other in the tank. The tentacles are always touching - no problems at all. My torch is on the other side of the tank so I cannot say what it will do.

same here. i have frogspawns n hammers touching each other and everything is fine. i dont have a torch so i cant add anything about their compatibility.

I have my torch right above my frogspawn and not have any problems, but you probably mean close then this.

They are all Euphillia, no problems. I have the whole left side of my 125 of nothing but Euphillia, looks awesome.

I have 5 different hammers, 5 frogspawns and a torch in the same area. They are from the same family and don't bother one another.

I have a tank with nothing but euphillias and a couple softies.Last week my green torch sunk one of it's sweepers into my small frogspawn.I had to move them apart. To me..torches seem more aggressive than frogspawn or hammer.

I recently put my 2 frogspawns together. One is has a brown base, the other has a green base. I put the heads right up against each other.

Then I started seeing these little green things floating around in the sand. Took me a while, but I realized they were the heads from the brown based frogspawn! The tips were green, so when it's shribbled up, it's a deep green. The other frogspawn was totally burning the heads off the first one.

I've since separated them by a few inches, so they only touch when fully expanded. No more floating heads.

i too have numerous hammers and frogspawns together in large bunches. As for torch, i've heard they are much more agressive and should be kept from your other clusters of Euphelias. As always though, it probably depends on the specimin..... Good Luck

You definately can't keep torches by frogspawn or hammer corals, the torches will burn them.

not every time but if they are going to go to war it will be the torch that starts it.
