Is my acan dying?

I bought this coral about 2 weeks ago and it doesn't look the same. I am worried about it. Is it dying or going through some kind of a change? Here it is the day i put it in the tank and the second pic is now.

what kind of light do you have it under?

It does look stressed. Do you know what lighting the lord was under when you bought it? How about now in your tank? It may be stressed from too much light. What about your water parameters? How strong of flow is hitting the lords?

low flow, low light, and food when it wants it.. id do that asap..

I have a tek 6 bulb fixture over it and have it sitting on the bottom of the tank. The day it started looking like this the ph shot up to 8.57 But I got it lowered by increasing the flow of the calcium reactor. It is looking a little better today but still looks stressed.

I'm going to try feeding it tonight after the lights go out when the little feeders come out. I placed it in some shade under a ledge about 2 hours ago and its already starting to puff up and look better. Thanks Jim
