Is my Acro Dieing

Gritz

In Memoriam
May be a dumb question but... after I recently rearanged my tank while trying to catch some fish. truth be told, I tore it to hell tryng to catch all my fish for ich treatment. All corals are acting fine except one. Of course its the most exspensive and my favorite frag. My Terra De Fuego has not shown any sign of polyp extension in the last 3 weeks since the jostle. I am very OCD so my water is perfectly clean. Calcium is 430 and Alk is 9.5 with Ph of 8.2ish. Salinity is kept at 1.025. All other SPS are normal with no signs of stress. Below are before and after pics. Any suggestions?

It doesn't look happy, that's for sure. But I wouldn't say its "dying". Did you change it's placement in the tank? Is it receiving the same flow and light as it did before the move? Both of these factors could affect polyp extension of the coral. Have you checked it at night to see if it has any P.E.? That would be the true test to see if it is dying or not, I have had corals that show no signs of P.E. during daylight hours, and have wicked P.E. at night after lights go off. Just my 2 cents, hopefully you can have others chime in with their opinions on the matter.

After 4 weeks, the coral make a full recovery. I guess it was just taking a vacation. Or was showing its displeasure to me.
