Is my Anemone Dying?

This is my first post on here. Couple weeks ago I bought a greenish white anemone that has longer tentacles. In my tank it has never latched onto a rock and really just lays in the back. How do I know if it is alive or possibly dying? Any help would be great! Thanks

have you spot fed it? You need to get a turkey baster, thaw some kril in a container with some of your tank water in it, and baste the anemone close to the middle, where the mouth is. If the anemone has not attatched to anything, it is not happy. If I were you, I would feed it everyday until I noticed a change, then change to every other day, then once a week and stay at that feeding. Some people do not spot feed, but you will notice a quick change if you will , especially if they are ill or weak.

IMO, I don't think you can, whatever an anemone does not want, it regurgatates, that does not harm them, but it will harm them if you feed large pieces to them, it can tear the tissues when they regurgate. Kril is the best, again, IMO.

I believe where they settle relates to water flow / currents 2.
They will try to find a place where the flow is just right so maybe try to experiment with that as well.
