from what i understand, they plant theyre foot on two different rocks stretched out as far as they can from eachother, theyre mouth gets real elongated and it starts to tear itself. check www.karensroseanemones.com for lots of cool pics.

I see no signs of it splitting, it is just oval.
What is the mouth doing?
I have a new section with a lot of pictures of my latest split, they will help you determine if it is or isnt. But I am guessing no, just got rid of waste.

looks like it could be splitting to me. But, as Karen said you can't really tell a lot from a single picture. Mine haven't been particularly closed up like that when they split but the pinching looks a lot like it could be.
