Is my bta's spawning

I walked in the house looked in my tank and noticed that it was slightly cloudy. But couldn't see where it was coming from at first. Then I saw what looked like smoke coming out of two of my bta's. They have been doing this for at least a half hour now. They have been in my tank for five years now and I have never seen this before. does anybody know what is going on? Is this harmful to my tank? Should I do a water change? Should I replace my carbon in my reactor? thanks!

sounds like it's spawning from what I've read on other forums and their advice was to do a large water change and change out your carbon. is your nem unhealthy? lots of times when they spawn, they're relatively unhealthy and it's a last ditch effort to continue the species....

so water change and fresh carbon..if it were to continue to decline, I'd remove them from the tank and QT them

My Anemone's are very healthy and have been for the last five years. All water pars. are perfect. They have done this for a hour now. Its making me a little nervous, No its making me a lot nervous. Somebody else please chime in if you have any idea whats going on?
