Is my clown's mouth alright?

He has this little white area on his mouth. I just got him yesterday. I'm not sure if it's a disease or what. Thanks for any insight.

i had two similiar situations like that..
the 1st looked similiar to your pic..i believe it developed into some very nasty brook that basically deteriorated the fishes mouth.
couldn't cure it and fish died

the 2nd fish had it on the body behind the gill, but it went away in about a week. fish is fine.

I think my clown has the same thing. Is there anything one can add to cure it? What is brook?
