is my ricordia splitting?

today i looked in my tank and noticed a clump of tissue, very small, that didn't look like any other parts on my ricordia. its translucent with some red veins maybe inside of the tissue. it isn't closed up and looks to be happy. i know i need a pic, i will do that later. does any one have pictures or know of a good website that might show the stages of the splitting of a ricordia? also any personal experience of their ricordia naturally splitting in their system is appreciated! thanks!

my rics split but they just tore themselves in half.here it is when i first got it(this was 1 ricordia poylp)

In my limited experience, I've noticed my ric floridas don't start splitting until they have more than one mouth. Usually the two mouths will start to seperate from each other first and the ric will slowly pinch apart. Sometimes the ric will just spread out into a weird shape though and not split at all.
