Is my Scoly happy?

I got this scoly at a frag swap 3 weeks ago. The biggest change in its appearance has been the small white pointed nubs that go out radially from its center to the outside. This is my first experience with a scoly so I don't know if this is a good or bad thing?

Its located in the front center of my tank so I'd consider it to be a high light / medium flow area. It appears to be eating well (mysis once a week and a combo of powdered coral foods 1-2x a week) and hasn't shown any tissue loss.

On a side note, I had also just gotten a new Hydra 26HD (replacing the stock lighting of my RSM130D). When I got the light, I put it in 'acclimation mode' ramping up from 50% intensity over a 4 week period. Its been 3 weeks so I should be getting to full power next week.

Thanks for your advice!

the nubs appear to be the skeleton showing because its deflated. I do think its not happy. they do not like high light so if you do have it in high light move it. They also like food, make sure its eating.

That's what I was afraid I was seeing. Thanks for the advice. I'll move it to a new location (and maybe turn down the light intensity a bit) and see if it does better with less light. Thank you.

it's not the happiest scoly atm, but with slow flow and some feeding, it should be back to happy scoly again.
