Is one of these clowns a female?

I know the bigger clown is usually the female of a pair. I have had these 2 for about 5 weeks. Do you think one is male and one female? Would the top one be female? Their names are Harold and Maude but I don't know who is who yet :)

I can not answer the female vs male question but the top clown appears to have an infection.

The spots? Those have always been on her/him. They look pearly and iridescent but maybe my cell phone image makes them look weird.

The clowns look fine in terms of health; snowflake however looks a bit thin. If they get along at this point they will pair and figure out which one is male and female.

Thanks. I picked up some different food today to change things up a bit and give them so variety. I'll see if he fattens up.
