Is one Stream enough for a 180g?

I was going to get the 3150gph stream with controller is this enough for a 180g tank or would I need more? I will have two returns from a 2400g pump as well.

What kind of corals will you be keeping?

Just keep in mind some LPS like lower indirect flow (elegance, torch, hammer, frogspawn, anchor) These corals will have to be positioned so they are shielded from the flow. I think 2 pumps is always better, it gives you a back up and it also allows you to change flow direction, you could start with one but get the multicontroller so you can add another.

I was also thinking of adding a Tunze wave box and a Tunze stream.

I was just going to use the wave maker by its self but didn't think it be enough flow. The wave maker comes with a power head and controller right?

Yes, but the pump and controller are part of the wavebox system.

The wavebox flow is generally insufficient on it's own.

So where would it be best to place a Stream in relation to a wave box?

In a 180, i would place it on the opposite end.

Could I go with a smaller stream if I use the wave maker? maybe the 1850gph with controler?

It won't reach, the 6000 only covers a 4ft area.
