is pc enough light for zoos?

It's not enough to have great results. I know because I have the same set up. I may have to build a canopy and install a 250w MH or (4) 65w PC in order to get the results I want.

Zoas will live and multiply with (2) 65w PC lighting. But, from my experience, 130w is just not enough to get the Zoas to color up and expand.

I agree. Plenty of light to keep and grow zoas. I had 2x65w over a 30g, and grew many a zoa frag. But it isn't the right light to make their color pop. The same can be said for many corals... you can grow many SPS just fine under those same lights.

If you can't upgrade lights and want something nicely colored that will grow like crazy for you... montipora digitata. Get a frag of the orange kind to try.

Yup, green or purple digis grow like crazy.. and plump up nicely.... I have mine under T5 and grow big time... I accidentally break them off oftenly and the small piece where it broke of that is left usually grows enough to be seen in a month or 2..

petoonia- what do you mean by colors?
i never knew you could grow sps under pc. or have misunderstood something?

SPS will live under PC. I have a few SPS frags, neon green merulina and green w/ blue tips acro, under (2) 65w PCs and they're surviving with very little growth after a few months.

I have had a few acros (green slimer, tan w/white tips) that bleached under PCs as well.

Unless you have very high wattage, I don't recommend PCs for SPS at all.
