I have a 90 gallon sps tank and i have been running Chemi-pure because i was dealing with a problem with some of my sps corals STN'n on me so i started running it and everything looked better within a couple of days. It's been about 2 weeks and i have one of my Acro's starting to STN again. Is there any problem with running Chemi-pure 24/7?
Is running Chemi-pure in a sps tank 24/7 ok?

Never heard of it being a problem. I would double check your temp. A buddy of mine lost over half of his SPS because of a heat issue.

Chemi-pure is activated carbon? If so, yes it can be run 24/7. I believe most people keeping sps run carbon, but in no way is the only way to keep sps. I've heard of people not using it. I use carbon that I buy in bulk to save on costs. I change it every 2-4 weeks. It sits in a mesh bag that sits in my sump of eight hundred GPH.
