is something eating my polyps?

Maybe a dumb question....

I had a couple of polyps on a live rock...they exploded from 2 or 3 to 60-70 in a year. On one rock they suddenly started disappearing so I removed the rock and cleaned all the polyps off...I really didn't like the dull yellow color anyways. However, today I have a couple of green polyps on the opposite side of the tank and I noticed one head of the polyp had a white top and only a stem.

Is something eating them? Don't know what to do....all lps, clams, fish, sps etc...look awesome..

sorry for the poor pics...

As far as treatment. i think a freshwater dip will kill the nudi, but not the eggs. I think you have to manually remove the eggs. There are also fish out there that eat them.

i just did a fw dip and only a small pod and a tiny brittle star fell off. The white top came right off...not sure if they are nudi...cause I can't find anything
