Is the 6060 adjustable?

I heard from one person that there is a screw on the blue transformer box that allows for a setting of 30-100%, which I may need to do it I buy one of these.

Can anybody confirm this for me before I order one?

No, the 6060 is not adjustable. You'd have to get the 6000, 6100 or the 6200 if you want to be able to adjust it.

I know it isn't controllable or to be used with a wave timer, but is it okay to put one on a regular timer?

I love the tunze, but just can't spend the money for the 6100 with controller.

I basically just want to hook it up to a light timer and shut it off for a few hours at night and maybe an hour when I feed the tank.

Is this going to hurt anything?

That is fine, it won't hurt the pump. The only risk is an animal going in the pump while it is off and being killed when it starts.

Yea, my starry blenny likes to sit in my wavebox when its not on; so I tend to leave it on 24/7 now as well.

My wavebox came with a grid-like cover that snaps over the opening and prevents any animal larger that a couple millimeters from entering. You could always use that and then be able to safely turn it off at night.

The outlet size is different so it would require some customizing.
