Is the lighting strong enough to keep an anemone in my parents tank?

It's a 55 gal tank, about 24" deep, and the lighting is: 150 W 14K metal halide, and 64 total watts of PC, giving a grand total of 3.9 watts/gallon.

I'm pretty sure BTAs would be ok with this light, but I already have one in my 25 gallon tank, and I'd love to try a carpet (the "easiest" one--Haddoni, I believe) If not, what about LTAs or the sebae?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know enough to reccomend it(I think I got lucky) but my Sebae is under 150 10K DE bulbs, My tank is 30" deep but the nem stays in the rocks about half way up. He was bleached when I got him and has made a full recovery.

yes that is plenty of light. It will move to its "happy" spot after you put it in. I bet it sits right under the 150w MH light.

Its in my 210 and is situated right in between 2 of the lights so it doesn't get a direct hit, to most of it anyway. He has grown a good bit so some fringes get direct light.
