Is the Yellow Canary Wrasse a reef safe fish?

I have a tall 40 gallon mixed coral reef aquarium with tons of invertebrates and a few small fish including a yellow canary wrasse. Is this fish to be trusted with feather dusters and delicate corals? He seems fine but every now and then, he seems to be eyeing certain corals with polyps.

mine swims between my lps n softy poly's, its really cool seeing him cruise thru my toadstool, but hes never ate anything he shudnt, featherdusters he may be eating, i got em all over not really keepin track. mine is in a BB reef

Mine steals food from corals, and sometimes he'll nip a leather polyp, but he doesn't eat them. One night I spent 30 minutes keeping him from stealing from my favia with the turkey baster. My orbic cardinal joined in chasing him away, and now I don't have to. If the cardinal sees him stealing, he runs him off. :lmao:

Oh, and I still have my 2 small featherdusters. Missing a lot of pods () and all of the pyramellid snails )).

He's fine he probably looking for pest when hes cruising around.

You can prevent that with tupperware (or equivalent) protective domes with holes.
