Is there a mini ocillerous clown fish?

I had a weeee baby and I loved the size of him, he was a little more than an inch. Unfortunately he dies because he was sick and did not eat. Then I went to the pet store yesterday and saw this HUGE ocillerous that was the size of a horse! That got me thinking, maybe I don’t want a clown? I liked mine small, like a cat, not big like a horse.

Are there miniature clowns out there?

Not to my knowledge, no.

The tiny clown you had was probably just a baby.

If you want an idea of small fish, I'd take a look at LiveAquaria.com at their "Nano Fish" section. Just to give you a few ideas and start off. Then check out specific groups of fish that interest you and branch out. That's kinda what I did.

There are lots of small fish out there. The hard part is picking out which ones you want most. ;)

I know somebody that had a batch of tiny eggs...I suggested to try to raise a batch because I would love a miniature pair for a pico. :D

Smallest clowns are the skunks, percula, and ocellaris.

Not unusual for them to reach 3" in captivity.

Thanks for the infoguys. I always saw small percs and what not and I guess they were babys at the store. I visited a well known place "I" never been to and I swear this Nemo clown was about 3" like the previous poster sad and fat as a large grape, maybe bigger. The thing was so big in fact I was shocked. Then I was like, okay, I will check out the little scooter blenny/dragonet. Again, that thing looked like a fat catfish!? That pet store is definitly feeding them good!

Okay, time to check out the nano fish, thanks all.
