There are a few that will multiply in reef aquaria, Stomatella and Certh come to mind right off, but I am sure there are more.

Eric,
Do you know how "easily" Ceriths reproduce or rather, what percentage of eggs actually develop to adult snails? I have some Ceriths and they have started to lay eggs. I've been thinking about buying some more but if I'm going to have a few hundred of them soon I could spend the money on something else![]()
If you take a closer look where I live I'm sure you are not interested anymoreOriginally posted by Reefun
Where did you get your snails?

I couldn’t find the snails I was looking for it was high tide when I got there and I couldn’t get to the good spots. But I did get a few others . If you know what they are please let me know and if they are reef safe or not.

I will not be adding anything to my tank unless I know exactly what it is. I'm not being cheap so much as just having fun. It's fun looking around in the bay. I will go to another spot and see if I can find the snails I was thinking about. Thanks for the info
