Is there any actually GOOD and DECENT priced stores in BHAM??

Just as it says is there any good places to get filters, fish, sand, coral, rock, ETC?? I have been to AQUARIUM designs in Patton Creek and am not pleased with there stock and prices. Im from MICHIGAN and things should be more expensive up there but they arent so when I went there I was was surprised on the prices.

Uh. "good" and "decent"? Not exactly. Both places CAN have good or decent deals or stock, but neither is good and decent all in one package. Imports tends to be the one I like better. Designs is overpriced like mad but usually has more stuff. It's like you have to go every other day to both to get deals.

Aquarium designs has pretty much gone to crap... Prices on frags have been reduced, fish prices are still slightly higher than average, and equipment prices are unreal. Just none of the stock looks very high quality anymore.
Equipment prices at imports aren't any better, but they get some cool stuff in once in a blue moon.

Even with an employee discount, it was cheaper for me to order equipment from Aquacave.com than it was buy it from Aquarium Designs. Tough for a storefront to keep up with online prices these days.
