I have had my NC DX 12g up and running for about 3 months now and have just been planning out how I really want it to look. In that plan, I had thought of a small anemone. So my question is....

Is there really any kind of anemone that could survive under 48W of PC lighting or do I really need a MH?

Bta's would live but it certainly isn't ideal. You would have to make sure you feed it.

I have a ten gallon with a rock anemone with 65 watts of pc.

What are the dimensions of the tank? You could do good with T-5's.

It is the standard JBJ nano cube dimentions. (14" wide by 14" deep).

The smallest T5 fixture I can find is 18".....

Oh it's a nano-cube, sorry bout that.

I'd go with the 70 MH. The 48 watts pc is not much and you'll just want to upgrade that.

I thought you were putting together a tank, buying everything separately.

Well, just thinking about it know, I have been toying with the idea of swapping tanks (my FW with my nano cube) so I would have the ability to have a 30 gallon reef. And then I would turn the nano cube into a FW planted and then I would be able to get either a Sunlight Supply 96W T5 HO fixture, or three 48W Current T5 HO fixtures. However the 3 current lamps, would be around $100 less than the Tek light and the current T5 setup is 48W more;) So guess which one I will go with?:D

For T-5's make sure each bulb has it's own individual reflector to get the most out of the light.

I think that's right?

Current t5 are poorly designed same goes for the sunlight for the most part. go for aquatinics made right there in CT.

Yeah, I was thinking of going with them. Being that I live in CT and have been down to their manufacturing center, they are great fixtures, but a little pricey.
