is there any way to move an anemone!!!! HELP

hi i just got a GBTA and he does not like flow so he positioed himself under a part of my aquascape where there is not flow and you can not see him at all... i tried repostioning the powerheads so that i would hit him and hopefullly he would move and he did but in the wrong direction. So i know there are other ways of moving him but i dont know wht those ways are haha. So if anyone has ever moved an anemone then please tell me how u did it

Leave it alone.
The anemone moves to where he is more comfortable. Even if you do get it to move what makes you think it will stay where you want it?
Give it some time to adapt to your tank and it may end up in a place that is suitable to you.

Like stated above pretty much patience and it will find its spot. If you do move it be careful not to tear the foot. U can use a credit card to gain access under the foot and gently slide your finger under to dislodge it. Another way is to do the same with the card and pick up the rock if possible and slowly pull it out of the water with the anemone hanging upside down and its weight will relaese it. It is not easy to do without damaging it but it can be done just be patient and careful. I would let the nem try to find its spot first before you try to move it. You will most likely need to move corals out of its way when it finds his spot. If you do move it remember anemones like alternating current not directly in front of powerheads/pumps but an area that has different currents alternating if possible. And I have the most success placing nems into a rock that has a hole in it so the base is protected. Or place other rocks around the base so they can spread out and attach plate to surrounding rocks during daylight hours. Good luck it can be a battle but if your parameters and light are good GBTA's are a great addition to any tank.

as others are saying - i left the anenome alone and it moved throughtout the tank for a week and then came to rest not far from where i wanted it to be. regardless, the right thing to do is let it pick a place which it will be happy.

I would not use a razor blade for fear of accidentally cutting the foot. An injured foot is the most common injury that leads to the death of the anemone.

As others have mentioned, wait until the nem has settled before trying anything. I've had luck with BTAs settling into a crevice (they usually like to set their foot deep into a hole), then moving the entire rock to where I wanted it.

I've got 3 RBTA in my 55G, they started as one and kept splitting, and there is only 1 that i can see, the other 2 are hidden in the back and I only catch a glimpse of them every few weeks they just walk around constantly
