Two out of three of my clams are always laying on there sides. My squamosa baraly opens on its side but my croecia opens pretty good. Is this bad for the clams? Is there something wrong? Thanks

Where do you have the clams located?

Squamosas like to be on the sand, and croceas like to be on the rocks. It seems like they are just trying to reposition themselves to get the best conditions they can.

Also, what kind of lighting do you have? That may have something to do with why they're not happy where you put them.

They are both in the sand. I've had them almost a year and it was never really a problem. I have 4 65 watt pc's.
