Is there such a thing as "clear" eggcrate??

Anyone know if there is clear eggcrate?
I want to use this as a cover to my tank. Figured the white kind would block a little light and/or make little squares in my tank.

I would like to know also. Not a huge deal because I need it for use in a sump but it would still be nice to have clear.

Eggcrate is directional so if you put it on with the narrow side up, it will not block much light. If you put it the other way it will block more light. Even if you get clear, it will haze over time, and block light also.

probley was that chrome coated stuff.........looks clear though. saw it too.

I work at Lowes and have never seen clear egg crate. I have seen it chromed and white. I would not get chromed. I am not sure how the chrome coating will react with saltwater.

I have never seen clear eggcrate and I live in Home Depot and Lowes ect..

I use the white on both my tanks w/no probs at all. Thin side up. Have never seen clear stuff.

the stuff at HD looks like its the same diameter on both sides, there does'nt seem to be the a thinner side, no tappered side, I would like to find that stuff though if I gotta do the white.
