My flowerpot was closed up and I found this. Is it a baby on my flowerpot coral that is ready to drop? and if so what do i do next?

How big will it get before it well drop off? right now it is 3/8 dia.

It should get quite a bit larger (1" dia.) before it drops; unless the coral is stressed, then it may drop early.

btw, Goniopora, aka flowerpot, is a "hard" coral (lps) and not a "soft" coral.
