IMO, that is common when a Naso is stressed out, they get the white blotches. It takes awhile for a Naso to get comfortable and eating, I tried 3 times and never had luck. How long has he been in the tank?

He has been in there about 7 days but he is eating well and swimming all over and seems fine? He now looks fine with no spots??? They went away in a matter of hours..

If he is no longer showing stress pattern he should be fine. Many tangs and rabbitfish (and many more species of fish) display these marking often. Might have just been spooked. It takes some time for fish to become adjusted to their new homes.

This being said, keep an eye out if he does it again, as this is his way of letting you know that something is bothering him.

Agree that white blotches are a normal reaction to stress. Mine used to routinely show blotches at night as well.

I would dim the lights and put on a little Kenny G

Lol...sorry just got of work..... if he is a new inhabitant it is perfectly normal for him to flash his stress pattern.
Other reasons: another fish is bullying him, if he gets startled, when the lights come on, when you walk by the tank... it takes a long time for a fish to get comfortable in any system, give him time
