A ~2ft blue gigantea that's been in the lfs around 4 months and hasn't deflated once according to them. They are asking 300

I would pay a little premium to see a healthy anemone that's been established. much safer than buying one that's in a bag

I see them over here at $150-$250 for 1'+...

If that gig is truly that big and healthy, then that is not an awful price.

IMO, gigs often sell cheaper than their availability would suggest because they die so quickly in most cases. The LFSs want to dump it before it turns to mush in their tank.

Personally, I would be hesitant to buy a 2' gig irrespective of the asking price.

I'd rather buy a 1' gig and let it grow out and settle in my tank, instead of buying a 2 foot ticking bomb roaming around the tank ;)

I didn't get it. Figured it would be better to get a smaller one and treat if need be then moving such a large one (I do have the room though). And it's a good thing I didn't because my water wasn't perfect and don't want to test my luck with putting a gig in non-perfect conditions.

Wise decision :)
